The mission of the Port Angeles Senior Center Board of Directors is to develop and manage programs to encourage physical, intellectual, emotional, and social well-being for citizens 45 and above in a safe and open environment.
The Port Angeles Senior Community Center was completed in 1995 and is cooperatively run by the City of Port Angeles and the Senior Center Board of Directors. This beautiful multi-purpose facility offers a complete commercial kitchen, multi-purpose room, dining room, separate coffee lounge, computer room, meeting rooms, a crafts and activities room, game room, and poolroom. All programs and services are self-supporting and the costs vary accordingly.
The sandwiches are made, the soup is hot! We appreciate the patronage and support of each person who enjoys our coffee lounge. The Center and volunteer staff work hard to provide the highest quality coffee, food products, and service.
The coffee lounge is open Monday thru Friday from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. and offers refreshments, snacks, and lunches at nominal costs. The lounge also offers an opportunity for good social contact and conversation.
Membership in the Senior Center is open to anyone 55 and over. Annual dues are $16 a year for City residents and $25 for all others.
Associate Membership is for anyone ages 45 to 55. Annual dues are $18 for City residents and $27 for all others.
The newsletter will be mailed to you as a benefit of membership at no extra cost!
